All but about 250 of the more than 24,000 customers who lost power during Friday night's storms and tornadoes have had their power restored.

Most of the remaining customers cannot take power because of damage to their homes. Those who have storm damage that prevents their power from being restored must have a qualified electrician repair the damaged equipment first. In some cases, repairs will have to be inspected by a local authority before we can restore your power.

In addition, those who are using a generator should make sure they use it properly to ensure their safety, as well as the safety of our restoration workers. For more information, visit https://www.entergynewsroom.com/storm-center/generators/

Thank you for your patience as we continue working to ensure all power is restored.
