Entergy has once again been recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council's prestigious America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises award.

Entergy Texas President and CEO Sallie Rainer accepted the award on Entergy's behalf at the WBENC's annual summit in March.

The national award recognizes companies with world-class diversity and inclusion programs that enable growth and innovation, while breaking down barriers for women-owned businesses.

Entergy and the 59 other U.S. corporations on the list collectively spent approximately $40 billion on WBENC-certified Women's Business Enterprises suppliers in 2018, an increase of $200 million from the prior year.

This award reflects our commitment to support businesses in the communities we serve and is one way we're pursuing our mission to create sustainable value for those communities.

Other companies who made the list were Target, General Motors, Coca-Cola and Chevron. View the full list here.
