Entergy Mississippi has named new leaders responsible for reliability and customer service in the company’s southern region – which spans in and around Vicksburg, Clinton, Brookhaven and Natchez. Jerry Wilson Jr., Curnis Upkins III, and Mike Farrell are taking on new roles to power these communities.
The replacement of the wood structures represents the majority of a $28 million annual investment Entergy Mississippi is making to harden the grid. So far, more than 1,000 aged wood structures have been replaced.

Entergy Louisiana recently completed construction of a transmission project that adds resiliency and increases reliability to the electrical grid in southwest Louisiana. The completion of this project will also help attract new economic development projects to the region and benefit existing residential, commercial and industrial customers in the area.
The proposal benefits customers, supports growth in Southeast Texas and helps strengthen the state’s economy.
