Greetings and happy holidays,
With the holiday season upon us, I wanted to thank you for your continued support throughout this past year. It has been appreciated because 2023 saw our company put forth major initiatives to better serve our customers and our communities.
We made great strides in providing you with clean and affordable power from diverse sources. Currently before the Louisiana Public Service Commission is a plan that would diversify our power generation mix by adding more solar power to complement our existing natural gas and nuclear power fleet. This balanced approach helps protect both customer bills and the natural resources we all enjoy.
This year, Entergy Louisiana also filed its customer-focused regulatory blueprint over the summer that would pave the way for a one of the most comprehensive grid-hardening proposals in Louisiana history. Not only would the plan be done in a way that maintains low rates, but it would also hold our company accountable for providing you with high levels of service.
We are also proud of the role we have played this year in helping drive economic development success in the place we call home.
In 2024, we plan to continue our efforts to provide clean, affordable power; harden the grid for stronger, more frequent storms; and partner with our communities to spur more economic growth. We know we can accomplish these things with the support of our customers who inspire us every day to go the extra mile… because, together, we power life.
