Entergy Mississippi crews and additional resource workers have restored service to the 1,092 customers who lost power as a result of Hurricane Zeta.
Entergy Mississippi is preparing for the impacts of Hurricane Zeta, which is predicted to make landfall this afternoon over southeastern Louisiana as a strong Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane with maximum winds of 100 mph.
Pilot program aims for 100% service reliability
Entergy Mississippi has restored power to the nearly 52,000 customers affected by Hurricane Delta, which made landfall as a Category 2 storm on Oct. 9 near Creole, Louisiana and began causing power outages in Mississippi on Oct. 10.
Entergy crews and additional resource workers have made significant progress restoring power to the nearly 52,000 customers who lost power Saturday as a result of Hurricane Delta. As of 7 a.m., 93% of customers have been restored with around 3,600 customers remaining without power.
The remnants of Hurricane Delta caused widespread power outages throughout the Entergy Mississippi service territory. As of noon today, about 12,700 customers remain without power, down from a peak of nearly 52,000 Saturday morning. A workforce of 2,500 Entergy employees, contractors and mutual assistance resources continue to safely restore power.
