Despite flooding and accessibility issues in some of the hardest-hit areas, a storm team of more than 4,000 has nearly completed power restoration to customers following Hurricane Barry. As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, approximately 2,500 customers remain without power in Louisiana, mainly concentrated in the Bayou Region. Since Barry first started affecting Louisiana, we have restored some 330,000 customer outages.

Crews have made considerable progress overnight restoring customers impacted by Hurricane Barry. As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, less than 5,200 customers remain without power. The company expects to restore service to the majority of customers who can accept it by tonight, with those in the hardest hit areas in the Greater Baton Rouge area, as well as Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes, estimated to be restored by tomorrow.

As of 8:30 p.m. Monday, approximately 7,000 customers remained without power in Louisiana, mainly concentrated in the Greater Baton Rouge area, as well as Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes.
