Entergy Corporation today reported fourth quarter 2009 as-reported earnings of $313.8 million, or $1.64 per share, compared with $170.6 million, or 89 cents per share, for fourth quarter 2008.
The Board of Directors of Entergy Corporation has declared a quarterly dividend of 75 cents per common share.
Entergy Nuclear, the nation's second largest nuclear power operator, has signed an agreement with Nebraska Public Power District to extend management support services to Cooper Nuclear Station until January 2029.
Entergy Corporation today indicated that it expects fourth quarter 2009 as-reported earnings of approximately $1.63 per share and operational earnings of approximately $1.74 per share compared to as-reported results of $0.89 per share and operational results of $0.99 per share in fourth quarter 2008.
