Entergy Louisiana crews are continuing storm restoration efforts in north Louisiana, bringing in additional crews to help restore power to all areas in the hard-hit Parishes of Jackson, Bienville, Winn and Natchitoches.
Entergy continues power restoration efforts following last night’s storms, as near hurricane-force winds, severe lightning and flooding has caused massive destruction to the electrical system.

Entergy has brought in approximately 300 employees and contractors to help in the restoration effort from storms that devastated the Entergy Texas service area. At 4 p.m., approximately 6,000 customers are without power. Crews are restoring power as safely and quickly as possible.
Tornadoes, along with high winds and severe thunderstorms, moved through the Entergy Mississippi service area causing numerous outages. Additional crews are being brought in to help with the restoration effort. As of Sunday at noon, the customer outage count was 21,284. Updated information about outages, damage assessment and estimated restoration time will be updated later today, Sunday, April 14.
Entergy Texas, Inc. is responding to damage from numerous storms, including a reported tornado around 11 a.m. in the Franklin area of Robertson County that has knocked out a major transmission line and brought down numerous electrical lines.
