Entergy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Leo Denault announced today that the company has committed $250,000 to Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) during a speech at their 2018 National Training Seminar in New Orleans.
Award recognizes Entergy’s legacy of support for year-round initiatives throughout the parish.
Entergy also provides $60,000 grant to support Floating Islands Restoration Project in Vermillion Bay.
Support from the Entergy Charitable Foundation has helped New Schools for Baton Rouge respond to the community’s demand for excellence in public education by helping transform underperforming schools in the capital city.
