This is why on the first anniversary of Hurricane Harvey hitting the Lone Star State, Entergy Texas is giving $300,000 to local educators, local governments and nonprofit organizations to replace items that Harvey destroyed.

Support from the Entergy Charitable Foundation has helped the JASON Alliance at Lamar University engage thousands of Southeast Texas students in fun and educational activities that foster their interest in science, technology, engineering and math fields.
